Please join us on Wednesday, April 14th from 10:30am – 12pm for a presentation by Rebecca Bushby about virtual library visits and student instruction. This free Zoom event is open to all NH Librarians, RSVP is required.
This presentation will explore a variety of approaches for incorporating virtual library visits to allow for equitable access for students (or public library patrons) to experience the academic (or public) library and its resources. Applying best practices learned from experience and available literature, this presentation will explore ways to plan and host successful college (or public) library visits. Participants will be able to apply discussed strategies and technologies in their instruction sessions for students, with the idea that the instructional aspects presented will apply to all types of instruction beyond classroom teaching, including in a public library setting.
